Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager / Infrastructure - Exhibition & Events to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the technical coordination, integration and delivery of infrastructure design components across the project, including roads, utilities, structures, buildings, etc..
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate the integration of design delivery for roads, dry & wet utilities, buildings & structures, landscape, and other design packages.Ensure integration and resolution of infrastructure interfaces with master planning, landscape, and public realm teams. .Lead design reviews to ensure technical compliance, quality, constructability, and integration of multi-disciplinary inputs.Ensure infrastructure design meets local authority regulations, project standards, and sustainability goals.Develop and monitor design delivery schedules and ensure timely submission of design packages.Oversee integration and quality of subconsultants’ deliverables and packages.Liaise with permitting authorities and support approvals for all infrastructure design components.Identify and resolve design risks, constraints, and coordination issues during project development.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure design team members.Support tender documentation and respond to contractor technical queries when required.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.20+ years of experience delivering infrastructure design on complex urban or public realm projects.Proven expertise in road design, wet and dry utilities, grading, and stormwater management.Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary coordination on large-scale design programs.In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and authority requirements in KSA or GCC.Strong skills in design management tools, technical review, and project documentation.Experience working within design consultancy environments and managing subconsultants.Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities.Familiarity with infrastructure phasing and temporary works planning is a plus.Commitment to high-quality, sustainable, and resilient infrastructure design outcomes.Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.We truly invest and care about our employee’s wellbeing and provide endless growth opportunities as the sky is the limit, so aim for the stars!
