Job DescriptionAECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager - Data Centers to be based in Manila, Philippines office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Identify, onboard, and offboard design resources in coordination with department leadership (as needed to support project execution)Lead data center core and shell due diligence and design projects (including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire protection for greenfield and add/move/change projects) from start to finishDesign and design management support to our global internal clientsQuality, hours and budget control within delegated workshareOversee and maintain responsibility for project basis of design and localization process.Establish and oversee a process to detect, track and resolve scope changes, errors, or inconsistencies throughout the design process.Manage and grow AECOM’s data center design team, fostering a sense of comradery, collective ownership, and collaboration.Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.Develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders.Oversee preparation of project administration documents.QualificationsMinimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, plus ten (10) years of relevant experience in design and/or project management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organizationExcellent communication in English (written/oral).Additional InformationAbout AECOM
