Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Design Manager – Architect to join our team! In this role, you’ll drive the architectural vision for high-end luxury developments, ensuring every detail reflects elegance, precision, and excellence. About the Role: As the Design Manager – Architect, you will oversee the architectural design and coordination of prestigious luxury projects, including residential, commercial, and hospitality developments. With 15+ years of experience in architecture and project management, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with consultants and contractors, and ensure the seamless integration of luxury standards, aesthetics, and functionality. What You’ll Be Doing
1. Design Leadership & Oversight
Lead and manage the architectural design process for luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
Ensure designs align with the client’s vision, luxury standards, and project objectives, delivering exceptional architectural quality.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the design team, fostering creativity and ensuring attention to detail and craftsmanship.
2. Project Coordination & Collaboration
Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate design development and ensure alignment with project goals.
Lead design meetings, presenting architectural concepts and solutions while addressing feedback and integrating it into the design process.
Work closely with other disciplines (MEP, structural, interiors) to ensure seamless integration of building systems into the architectural design.
3. Luxury Design Execution
Curate and manage the selection of high-end materials, finishes, and bespoke design elements to create spaces that exude luxury and exclusivity.
Oversee the implementation of architectural details that emphasize precision, innovation, and superior quality.
Ensure design documentation and construction drawings reflect the highest level of accuracy, suitable for luxury execution.
4. Design Review & Quality Control
Conduct regular design reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and local regulations while maintaining luxury standards.
Implement quality control processes throughout all project phases, proactively identifying and resolving design risks or issues.
Oversee the production of design deliverables, including drawings, 3D models, and presentations, ensuring they meet client and project expectations.
5. Client Liaison & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their design aspirations are understood and realized.
Present design proposals and updates to clients, incorporating feedback while maintaining the integrity of the luxury vision.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring collaboration and alignment throughout the design and construction phases.
6. Budget & Schedule Management
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure design work adheres to schedules and budgets without compromising on luxury quality.
Review cost estimates for architectural design elements, ensuring material selections align with budgets while maintaining design excellence.
7. Sustainability & Innovation
Integrate sustainable design practices and cutting-edge technologies to meet luxury standards and environmental objectives.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
15+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, with at least 10 years focused on luxury construction projects.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-end luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality developments.
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools.
Strong understanding of high-end materials, bespoke finishes, and luxury architectural details.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices, particularly in the luxury market.
Inspiring leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive high-performance teams.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
A meticulous attention to detail and an innate understanding of luxury aesthetics and client expectations.
Professional licensure (e.g., Registered Architect, RIBA, AIA, EXPRO).
Experience working with leading developers or clients in the luxury sector.
Familiarity with international luxury design standards and experience on prestigious global projects.
