IN OHL is seeking a visionary Design Lead to architect and drive our end-to-end design strategy across one of Amazon's fastest-growing categories. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of creative excellence, technological innovation, and business growth, leading the transformation of how millions of customers discover and shop for Home, Kitchen and Outdoor products on Amazon. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of on-platform design on Amazon through cutting-edge AI integration while driving measurable business impact.
Key job responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Innovation
• Own the complete design vision and execution strategy for OHL's merchandising presence across Amazon's platform
• Pioneer the integration of AI in creative processes, leading both generative design initiatives and analytics-driven optimization
• Drive innovation in visual merchandising that directly impacts customer experience and business metrics
• Develop scalable design systems that balance creativity, efficiency, and performance
2. Team & Operations Leadership
• Build and mentor a high-performing design team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Establish best practices and operational frameworks for design at scale
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Business, Tech, and Product teams to drive integrated solutions
• Own end-to-end design operations, from conceptualization to implementation
3. Business Impact & Technology Integration
• Partner with business leaders to translate category strategy into compelling visual experiences
• Lead the adoption and optimization of AI-powered design tools to enhance team productivity and creative output
• Drive data-informed design decisions through AI-based creative analysis
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and optimize design impact on business outcomes
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in design, including demonstrable impact in e-commerce or retail
• Proven track record of leading design teams and managing complex projects
• Strong portfolio showcasing systematic thinking and scalable design solutions
• Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in retail or e-commerce design, particularly in merchandising
• Track record of implementing innovative design solutions at scale
• Experience with performance marketing and data-driven design
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in design and creative automation
