Job Description

Job  Summary:

The Piping Designer produces 3D Modeling, 2D layout, arrangement and fabrication drawings of the company’s products and equipment assembled on skid and of the interconnecting facilities of the plant inside company scope

Ensure that the drawings and documents output from the Plant 3D and P&ID Software comply with the Veolia standards and business requirements.  Continuously improve outputs based on lessons learned and the state of the industry and the state of the art.

Must be able to effectively communicate, organize and be efficient in time management with a team of engineers from multiple disciplines. High levels of decision making, organization and planning is required to be effective.

Essential Responsibilities:

Maximum 8 years’ Experience of mechanical design in Oil & Gas or related Industry.

Able to review Equipment , Piping, Piping Support Layout, Isometrics extracted from 3D Model

Review of pipe supports are located with all required dimensions on the 3D Model as well as structural drawings

Ability to work with codes and standards based on guidance from supervisor.

Prepare Structural & Pipe Stress Analysis package including weight datasheet.

 Key Skills required:

The individual has the technical ability to carry out small to medium-risk projects/tasks with the assistance of experienced engineers.

The individual has a comprehension of the complete implementation of the project and the resulting outcomes.

The individual maintains an up-to-date understanding of the various types of systems, equipment, information technology, and specifications that can be used to achieve specific design objectives.

Awareness on Pipe Stress Analysis basics and exposure to Caesar II Software.

Awareness on rotating equipment like Pumps / Compressors.

General Knowledge of Design, 3D modelling and drafting software

Candidate shall have primary skill as competency in Revit software and secondary skill of Plant 3D or Solidworks

 

Qualifications

Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Mechanical Engineering
