Design Engineer (m/f/d) Requisition ID: 44780 Job Location(s): Frickenhausen, DE Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Climate Solutions Segment Job Function: R&D, Technology and Engineering Work Location Type: On-site **Job Description** For our Danfoss Bock product line in the Climate Solutions segment, we are currently seeking a Design Engineer (m/f/d) to support our team at our Frickenhausen site near Stuttgart. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. **• You will coordinate directly with our customers and product managers to develop design solutions and optimizations within the product application.** **• You will also work closely with suppliers to jointly implement the best possible and cost-effective manufacturing processes for machined parts, casting models, and welding solutions.** **• You will be creatively active in presenting ideas and designs in models, assemblies, and drawings of mobile and stationary reciprocating compressors.** **• You will also be responsible for the computational design and verification of CAD design models with regard to the properties and behavior of strength, tribology, and fluid and gas flows.** **• You will be able to interpret measurement and test results (pressures, temperatures, vibrations).** **• You will ensure that our newly developed parts and assemblies comply with standards and applicable guidelines, and that DFMEA analyses are carried out.** **Background & Skills** At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
