Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer II with experience in aerospace or aircraft design, proficient in SolidWorks and capable of obtaining a SECRET level security clearance.

Job Requirements:

Associates degree from a U.S. Department of Education accredited college or university

Experience in aerospace or aircraft

5 years of progressive and current experience with SolidWorks modeling software

Proficiency with NASTRAN, FEMAP

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance

 

Job Responsibilities:

Design and create virtual solid models of new products, modifications, and upgrades to existing designs

Create 3D models and drawings for individual components, systems, and assemblies

Generate tolerance stack-up analysis, mass properties on component assemblies to ensure proper fit and function

Create, review, update drawings; maintain configuration control of design and manufacturing documentation (SolidWorks PDM)

Ensure compliance with Quality Requirements, ISO 9001/AS9100 standards, company policies, procedures, goals, and objectives

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
