Design Engineer – Innovation responsible for leading technology development and design ownership for custom slip ring, hydraulic, and cable reel product lines.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
Minimum 3 years of design engineering and/or new product development experience
Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
Experience using a manufacturing ERP system
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Skills
Electrical or electronics engineering experience
Background in custom industrial products such as slip rings, hydraulic reels, or cable reels
Experience validating product performance against customer specifications
Job Responsibilities
Lead technology development and design ownership for custom slip ring, hydraulic, and cable reel product lines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate product specifications, standard requirements, and design changes for engineering and manufacturing
Implement engineering best practices and review new standards to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
Develop concepts for new products that align with market requirements and establish a competitive edge
Review complete technical documentation packages to validate product performance against customer requirements
Recommend design modifications or develop new designs when required to meet customer or performance requirements
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
