Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Design Engineer to develop and integrate mechanical designs for heavy-duty vehicle components.

Requirements:

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Three or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment Experience with high-level CAD systems

Responsibilities:

Develop reliable and cost-effective mechanical designs for vehicle components Perform engineering analysis and redesign existing and new vehicle components Support integration and execution of vehicle design projects Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on technical issues Provide mentorship to entry-level engineers, designers, or technicians Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material Analyze and resolve engineering issues through communication

Pay Details: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour
