Additive Manufacturing Expertise: In-depth understanding of various 3D printing processes (e.g., FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS) and their application in an industrial setting. Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering), simulation, and digital manufacturing software (Preferred use in AutoCad/Autodesk Fusion/SolidWorks). Material Science: Knowledge of material properties, selection, and characterization for additive manufacturing, particularly relevant to automotive and manufacturing requirements. Automotive Systems: Familiarity with vehicle architecture, components, and the automotive development lifecycle. Business & Costs: Understanding of business principles, financial implications of engineering decisions, and cost analysis methodologies related to manufacturing processes and materials.
