Design Engineer (24 months)
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Interpret and apply engineering documentation, including standards, customer specifications, P&IDs, and internal procedures, to ensure accurate and compliant designs. + Lead mechanical design activities for pressure management systems, including sizing, engineering calculations, feasibility checks, and configuration of final solutions. + Create complete CAD deliverables (3D parametrized models, assemblies, 2D drawings, and technical documentation), enabling automation and standardization. + Adapt and update existing designs, generate Bills of Material and piping/accessories lists, and provide technical support during execution and manufacturing. + Collaborate with Design, Application Engineering, PMO, and Manufacturing teams, contributing to design reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Who You Are:** + You bring strong technical skills and are comfortable working with engineered products, pressure components, and manufacturing processes. You naturally look for better ways of working, simplifying and optimizing workflows so the team can deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Experience in mechanical design, preferably related to process equipment, skids, or pressure management systems. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation. + Proficiency with CAD tools (for example, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor or similar 2D/3D platforms). + Good command of English, written and spoken, and strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teams. + Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining quality and safety. + A technical background in mechanics or engineering (through education and/or practical experience). **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + Experience with Natural Gas or other gas pressure reduction, filtration, heating, metering, or odorization skids and stations. + Hands-on involvement in projects across their lifecycle, from quotation support through manufacturing. + Experience generating and maintaining Bills of Material and piping/accessories lists in engineering or ERP/PLM systems. + Exposure to Lean, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement activities, particularly related to CAD tools or design standardization. + Experience working in global or distributed teams across different locations and cultures. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** + At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
