The Finance Digital Transformation team is at the forefront of business transformation, implementing technology solutions such as Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. As we drive standardization, simplification, and efficiency gains across the Finance function, we are seeking a Design & Delivery Lead to lead this evolution.
The Design & Delivery Lead plays a pivotal role in bridging Finance, Technology, and Business teams to deliver scalable, sustainable, and high-value digital solutions. Acting as coach and design governance lead, you will be responsible for the Design and Delivery lifecycle of finance transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives, process design, and technical execution.
This role combines finance process knowledge, automation, AI and analytics capabilities understanding, solution design thinking, and delivery leadership — someone who can connect strategy to execution, guide teams through complexity, and develop collaboration across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Requirements Translation
Collaborate with the Discovery team to refine and translate business requirements into functional designs.Facilitate discussions with business customers and IT partners to clarify needs, dependencies, and priorities.Assess technical feasibility of proposed solutions (automation, AI, or process standardization) and guide design decisions accordingly.Design & Solution Oversight
Lead design sessions to define end-to-end process flows and identify automation or optimization opportunities.Supervise and validate the functional design work produced by Business Analysts, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical feasibility, and Finance transformation goals.Provide guidance and quality assurance across design work — ensuring that process documentation, user stories, and functional specifications meet established standards.Act as the Design Governance Owner for Finance Digital Transformation, setting standards, templates, and guidelines for design consistency.Partner with ERP, CRM, and Data teams to validate data sources, integration points, and solution feasibility.Guide the evaluation of solution options (e.g., RPA, Power Platform, AI-based, workflow automation) based on business value and complexity.Delivery Leadership & Project Governance
Be responsible for project delivery activities from design through implementation, ensuring alignment to governance and Agile or hybrid delivery standards.Handle project timelines, risks, dependencies, and customer expectations using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.Track delivery indicators and provide clear updates to leadership on progress, risks, and value realization.Coaching, Mentorship & Collaboration
Serve as a coach and mentor for Business Analysts/Designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.Strengthen multi-functional alignment between Finance, IT, and Data teams to ensure end-to-end delivery success.Promote the creation and adoption of internal playbooks, reusable frameworks, and process documentation.Deliver to portfolio governance and represent the Design & Delivery stream in planning and review sessions.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.Experience5+ years in Finance, Accounting, or Process Improvement roles.2+ years working with or around automation technologies (e.g., RPA, Power Platform, Power BI, Analytics; AI experience is a plus).2–3 years of experience in project or delivery management within hybrid or Agile environments.Experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms) experience with JIRA and Confluence is a plus.Skills & StrengthsGood communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Analytical problem solver capable of assessing technical feasibility and translating complex business needs into practical designs.Finance-literate with a solid understanding of key business processes (Revenue, Procurement, Sourcing, Forecasting, KPIs).Collaborative leader with a growth mindset and passion for digital transformation.Effective mentor, promoting high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement.Certifications (Nice to Have)Agile (Scrum Master or SAFe), PMP, or Six Sigma Green Belt.
