Job Description
We are seeking a talented Design and Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and prototyping new medical devices, developing manufacturing processes, and contributing to quality system activities. You will also play a key role in supporting the product life cycle, managing engineering change orders, and overseeing product testing.
Responsibilities
Design and prototype new medical devices.Develop manufacturing processes for new products.Participate in quality system activities such as design controls, risk management, and verification/validation.Lead sub-teams within development projects.Mentor technicians and junior engineers.Update existing devices with new materials/components due to supply chain changes.Manage engineering change orders (ECOs).Oversee or conduct product testing to validate materials and suppliers.Essential Skills
5-8 years of experience in product design and development.Strong experience in mechanical engineering with experience in medical device design.5+ years of experience with Inventor or SolidWorks, AutoCAD experience preferred.Experience in mechanical product design or injection molding design.Familiarity with ISO standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.Experience in new product development.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
