Derivatives Sales Trader | Experienced Hire
Overview

Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) integrates expertise in trading, research, and sales to provide value to our client base of mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension/endowment funds.

 

As a member of our Derivatives Sales Trading team, you will engage directly with clients, execute order flow, and provide market-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with our derivatives trading, strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required3 to 6 years of experience in sales trading, ideally with a focus on derivativesExceptional quantitative and analytical abilities Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility modeling, and derivatives marketsExpertise in examining volatility surfaces, skew, term structures, and other critical options metrics to inform trading decisionsAbility to evaluate market trends, interpret options flows and positioning, and assess strategy feasibilityExperience with Python, SQL, or VBA preferredProven ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with institutional clients and internal counterpartsClient-focused mindset with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organizationStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAdaptability to shifting priorities and willingness to contribute across projects and workstreamsAn ideal candidate has strong ambition, a willingness to take initiative, and a desire to continuously learnPossession of SIE, Series 7 and Series 63, or the ability to obtain all licenses within four months of hire, requiredVisa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future

The annual base pay range for this role is $125,000 - $175,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
