Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deputy Support Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to assist the Station Manager in the managing of the inspection station and supervision of lane staff.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assists Station Manager in meeting station safety, budget, & inspection goals.
Ensures a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
Responsible for all customer service goals and objectives.
Returns customer phone calls made to the 888-NJMOTOR number as requested by the Customer Service Department.
Investigates customer inquiries, comments or compliments as necessary.
Under the direction of the Station Manager, evaluates all lane technicians relative to good customer service.
Meets and explains the emissions and safety inspection results to the motorist should they understand or require further explanation.
Ensures all lane technicians process proper paperwork for inspection. I.e. Emissions Repair Forms, repair receipts, etc.
Completes and submits all accident reports per current SOP.
Assists Station Manager in payroll and time keeping.
Issues waivers to qualifying vehicles in compliance with.
As directed by Station Manager will participate in interviewing and hiring of new employees.
Assists in monitoring, evaluating, and documenting employee performance.
As directed by Station Manager will conduct disciplinary investigations and determine and issue the appropriate action.
Provides positive employee morale and ensures good public relations between company and customers.
May be required to work at other locations in the absence of the Station or Deputy Station Manager.
Other duties and tasks as assigned.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Must possess and maintain a New Jersey vehicle inspector’s license. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability to drive vehicles with a manual transmission. Must complete Parsons’ training requirements.
