Project Engineer - Electrical- Coal Mining
Planning and Documentation:
Assist in preparing electrical project BOQs, proposals, and budget estimates.
Support the preparation of detailed electrical drawings and tender documents, including single-line diagrams and wiring layouts.
Document changes to electrical project specifications and scope.
Maintain accurate records and ISO documentation for electrical components.
Project Execution:
Supervise electrical fieldwork, ensuring compliance with standards, codes (e.g., NEC, IEC), and statutory regulations.
Coordinate and oversee electrical installations and commissioning, including switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems.
Monitor and inspect electrical systems for performance, reliability, and safety compliance.
Address and resolve electrical technical issues during project execution.
Operations and Maintenance:
Assist in planning and budgeting for annual electrical maintenance activities.
Monitor and coordinate electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical maintenance works, including wiring, control systems, and lighting.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure all work adheres to ISO procedures.
Stakeholder Coordination and Quality:
Collaborate with electrical contractors, consultants, and internal departments.
Participate in meetings to plan and schedule electrical activities.
Facilitate communication and coordination among electrical project stakeholders.
Promote and enforce safety standards specific to electrical work, conducting regular inspections and quality audits.
Digitalization and Tech Initiatives:
Support the effective daily use of digital tools and resolve any technical issues.
Conduct training sessions to ensure team members are proficient with digital tools.
Monitor how digital tools impact project performance and report findings to the Project Construction Lead.
