Deputy Manager- Process Engineering


Position:  Deputy Manager- Process Engineering
Reporting: Senior Manager            Location: Pune

Responsibilities: - 
•    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
•    6+ years of experience in process engineering within the automobile industry, with a focus on machine installation, tool design, and layout making.
•    Experience with automation, IoT, and manufacturing 4.0 technologies.
•    Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
•    Demonstrated ability to work in a challenging environment and under pressure.
•    Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.
•    Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to manufacturing operations.

Critical Skills: - 
•    Work closely with the manufacturing team to develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures that meet company standards and quality requirements.
•    Design and develop tools and equipment to support production and manufacturing processes.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful equipment installation, commissioning, and operation.
•    Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction and develop strategies to implement these improvements.
•    Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
•    Utilize industry best practices and standards to ensure quality and safety of manufacturing processes.
•    Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in automation, IoT, and manufacturing 4.0 and integrate new technologies into production processes.
•    Provide technical support to production teams to resolve issues and ensure continuous operation of production equipment.
•    Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve the overall performance of the manufacturing team.
