*subject to local tax (if applicable) and less any applicable salary due under any relevant Local Employment Contract.
As the project moves beyond the initial mobilisation phase, your contract will be revised within the next three months to align with GardaWorld’s standard terms. This will include a reduction to your current monthly rate to reflect the long-term pay structure for the project and to bring it in line with country and industry norms. In addition, the current 40-day Home Leave cycle will be replaced by a formal rotational contract, with clearly defined on duty and off duty periods.
Onboarding Fee
USD $218.00 per month, to be paid in arrears.

Visa Requirements
The Company shall be responsible and liable for the multi-entry visa cost as required to deliver the Services. Any visa costs incurred by the Contractor shall be reimbursed.
Package
GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights, and life support while on duty.
Food, Accommodation and General Expenses:
The company will provide the Contractor with food, drink, transportation, and accommodation as necessary whilst the Contractor is engaged in a project.
If Company is unable to provide the Contractor with food, accommodation, and transportation, except as set forth below for inbound and outbound travel to the project location, Company shall either provide a per diem at an agreed rate or reimburse to the Contractor for any travelling, hotel and other expenses reasonably incurred by him in the proper performance of his duties under this Agreement. In the case of the latter, the Contractor must provide Company with such vouchers and receipts or other evidence of actual payment of such expenses as Company may reasonably require. The Contractor shall seek the prior approval by Company for any individual expenses incurred under this Agreement.
Flight Package
GardaWorld will provide an economy class return ticket per rotation to the project location from a hub airport as close as reasonably practicable to the Contractor’s declared home address.
The Contractor will be asked to declare their preferences for a primary, secondary, and tertiary hub airport from the GardaWorld hub list at the commencement of their engagement. Where possible and commercially acceptable, GardaWorld will look to book travel to and from one of the preferred hubs.
The Contractor will be responsible for any travel arrangements between the hub airport and their home address. The Company will pay for any transfers from the airport near the project location or any other intermediate landing location to the Consultant’s accommodation at the project.

Role Requirements
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team coordination skills, particularly in high-pressure environments. High level of medical competency in trauma care and emergency response. Familiarity with emergency planning, risk assessment, and casualty management. Ability to remain calm and decisive in critical situations. Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in documentation, incident reporting, and operational oversight. Organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in emergency response, trauma care, or prehospital medical operations. Recognised Level 3 FREC, FPOSi, or military medic qualification (Level 4 PHEM preferred). Previous experience in a supervisory or second-in-command role in a medical or response team. Operational experience in hostile, remote, or austere environments. Fluency in English (spoken and written). Physically and medically fit for deployment in high-risk environments. Familiarity with emergency response SOPs and Medevac protocols. Current and valid UK C or C1 Driver's license (for B6 vehicles) or other as accepted by the Authority.
Desirable:
Military, police, or fire service background with emergency medical training. Previous deployment on government, defense, or oil & gas contracts. Experience working in international or multi-national security projects. Instructor-level qualifications (e.g. TECC, MIRA, TCCC, First Aid at Work). Certifications in Firefighting, Confined Space Rescue, or HazMat response. Exposure to data protection and patient confidentiality standards. Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH or IOSH).Services
Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the position of Deputy Emergency Response Team (ERT) Manager, and include, but are not limited to, supporting the leadership, coordination, and execution of emergency medical and response operations at Balad, Iraq. The Contractor will assist the ERT Manager in ensuring the preparedness and effectiveness of the team and will assume full leadership duties in the absence of the ERT Manager.
The Deputy ERT Manager will act as a bridge between management and team members, supporting operational planning, training, equipment readiness, and response coordination in alignment with GardaWorld procedures and client expectations.
Services the Contractor can expect to carry out would include:
Supporting the ERT Manager in the daily leadership and operational readiness of the Emergency Response Team. Leading emergency medical responses, trauma care, and incident management when required. Assisting with training programs, simulation drills, and assessments to maintain team capability and readiness. Managing medical inventory, ensuring trauma kits, emergency gear, and response vehicles are operational and replenished. Assisting in the review and implementation of SOPs, ensuring team compliance with emergency procedures and health & safety standards. Supporting the documentation and review of incident reports, treatment logs, and training records. Acting as point of contact for internal departments during emergencies in the absence of the ERT Manager. Assisting in the planning and delivery of site-wide safety briefings, drills, and emergency preparedness initiatives. Supporting the coordination of Medevac and patient transfer procedures. Assisting with personnel performance evaluations and mentoring of junior ERT members. Upholding high standards of confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of medical response and patient care. Undertaking any other reasonable tasks as directed by GardaWorld management or the ERT Manager to support operational effectiveness.
