Who you are

Role purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver analytical / decision services to Vodafone’s businesses across the globe. The role works with EBU or CBU or Finance team in OpCo and as a part of the Vodafone Shared Services organisation in India.

The incumbent works on the assigned projects & it's stakeholder to understand the business challenges faced by them. Using expertise in CVM & Data Analysis the incumbent provide structured and data-backed Business Insight to create bottom-line impact for the business. The role also demands an innovation led approach to delivery with evolving analytical techniques / technologies.

The candidate works with the assigned business stakeholder(s) to agree scope, deliverables, process and expected outcomes from the products and services developed

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behaviour of millions of users to address strategic and operational business questions.Distil and communicate key insights across all levels of the organization.Leverage previously created data models, insights and analyses from across the Vodafone business to drive positive business outcomes.Understand business requirements and advise the best way to fulfil these with the data and tools available. Investigate data necessary to achieve desired business outcomes.Drive efficiencies in how analytical services are delivered, through automation and standardisation of analytical deliveryProvide a delightful and “easy to work” experience to the business stakeholders while setting clear expectationsWhat's in it for you

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

Master’s in Business Analytics or MBA from a premier B-schoolMinimum experience of 5 years in Analytics  or Business Insight/Descriptive AnalyticsPresentation of key finding & recommendation to senior stakeholder Flexibility and problem solvingPrevious experience in Telecom would be a distinct advantage

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Hands on experience in Analytical tools – Python, SQL, R  with knowledge of basic statistical techniquesAdequate exposure to Data visualisation tools like Tableau, QlikView, SAS Visual Analytics, etc.Exceptional data manipulation and analysis techniques; comfortable using very large (>10’s millions rows) datasets, containing both structured and unstructured dataExperience in Consulting organisation or CVM/U&R is desirable VOIS Equal Opportunity Employer Commitment
