The Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing (Industrial) will be responsible for driving direct sales growth of high-performance industrial lubricants across the assigned region. The role focuses on identifying viable business opportunities, managing and expanding key accounts, and providing technical and commercial support to customers in alignment with the company’s growth strategy. The incumbent will work closely with internal technical, commercial, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and long-term customer satisfaction.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell high-performance industrial lubricants including metal working fluids, corrosion preventives, oils, and greases through regular planned customer visits.
Identify, screen, and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing key accounts.
Provide technical assistance to customers and coordinate successful product trials for specific industrial applications.
Gather and maintain market intelligence related to pricing, credit terms, sales volumes, competitor activities, and market share to support effective negotiations.
Prepare pricing studies and support tender submissions; recommend appropriate credit limits for internal approvals.
Receive customer orders and coordinate with technical, commercial, and logistics teams to ensure timely processing and delivery.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
Build and maintain relationships with government bodies and regulatory authorities for product approvals and application-specific requirements.
Continuously update product and market knowledge through training programs, professional publications, and industry networking.
Travel extensively within the assigned region to support sales activities, customer engagement, and business development.
Contribute to overall sales objectives and organizational goals by achieving assigned targets and supporting strategic initiatives.
