Deputy Manager – Business Analysis (Non- IT)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our BCS team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Deputy Manager – Business Analysis (Non- IT) (Grade – D1)

We’re seeking a Deputy Manager – Business Analysis who will be working on BCS Marsh AI Data Extraction Program across various Geographies and will be involved in engagement with senior leaders on streamlining business requirements within the PPS value stream. Opportunity to enhance your knowledge in Insurance/Reinsurance broking domain as well as Leadership skills. Immense opportunity to lead Change Management initiatives as teams will be undergoing system/process migration. Leading operational delivery for the team/BU/entities assigned and provide dashboard and metrics to show trends, figures and business insight. People (team) engagement and development. Opportunity to work with global leads on various initiatives (process improvement, automation)

We will count on you to:

Requirements Gathering – Understand placement and policy requirements from the various value streams and translate to functional requirements on the AI Data Extraction tool for the technical teams.

Study the Policy landscape and contribute to business case on the AI Extraction for Policy Servicing E2E process.

Translates business strategies and objectives into business requirements.

Identifies, verifies and documents functional and operational requirements using requirements management methodology and tools.

Test and analyse final requirements.

Ensures requirements are communicated effectively to parties responsible for technical development and implementation.

Manage data and reporting requests. Stakeholder Management - Responsible for creating a rapport with onshore managers to be able to garner a long-term working relationship with them.  This in turn should help the incumbent better appreciate the challenges of the stakeholder and have a view of their short – medium term plans to ensure readiness in India.

Utilization & Resource Management - Efficient utilization of all available resources in Operations team (people, systems, knowledge) to ensure timely, cost efficient and quality delivery to stakeholders. The incumbent is responsible to ensure maintenance of a right-sized team with relevant skills and competencies to deliver to the expectations of stakeholders.

Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical/functional insurance concepts.

Networks with external groups to increase own knowledge of the technical area.

Responsible for operational issues within direct area of responsibility, maintain robust operational management discipline using reporting metrics to achieve processing metrics, ensuring all colleagues are operating rigorously within all published procedures and professional standards. 

What you need to have:     

Overall 6-8 years’ experience overall in Insurance domain & 2 years’ experience as People Manager

Understanding of Insurance broking business.

4-6 years of Business Analysis experience

Analytical ability and Decision making

Communication, Influencing and Negotiation skills

Leadership and People management

Change management

Planning and Organizing

Resource Management
