Summary You will serve as a DEPUTY FUTURE OPERATIONS OFFICER in the III MARINE EXPEDITONARY FORCE G-3 DIVISION ofIII MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Responsibilities You will lead and assist in development of long-rand operational plans, contingency plans, and future force structure. You will set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of projects and work, assigns work to personnel. You will give direction, advice, counsel, or instructions to personnel on both work and administrative matters, identify developmental and training needs of personnel, provide and arrange for training opportunities. You will study issues and mechanisms to support Stand-in Force (SIF) transition. You will provide training insight supporting the Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) and Facility Design for the new III MEF Headquarters and Guam Battle Staff Training Facilities (BSTF). You will exercise the full range of supervisory and managerial responsibilities for active duty, reserve personnel, and contractors associated with TECG. You will supervise and manage all officers, staff noncommissioned officers, and contractors directs activities of the Combined Arms Staff Trainer (CAST). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: determining long range plans, developing detailed schedules to implement exercise goals and objectives, and managing the execution and operations of a training, exercise and simulation control program. Pay retention may be granted when certain conditions are met. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
