Title:
Deputy Engineering ManagerKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Deputy Engineering Manager to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
The Deputy Engineering Manager will be accountable for the effective FEED design effort and coordination of the discipline engineering professionals and shall ensure that all designs comply with the requirements of the project.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all project work is efficiently and effectively executed in accordance with the criteria, specifications and standards required pursuant to the requirementsVerify that the work is continually reviewed against design goals and complies with the requirements & clientValidate that the work provided by KBR HSSE philosophies and adequate standards as accepted for an LNG Plant (Greenfield or Brownfield) within the Oil & Gas industryAllocate tasks between disciplines and successfully manage inter-discipline interfacesidentify areas where specialist technical assistance is required, select a competent source of specialist assistance, define the work scope, monitor the work performed, interpret the results, and incorporate such works into the overall scopeLead the multi-discipline engineering design teamRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering related fieldMinimum of 15 years of related experience, with average experience of 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry10 + years of experience in engineering managementFEED experience with coordination of engineering of an LNG Plant (Greenfield or Brownfield)EPC Detail Engineering experience with coordination of engineering of an LNG Plant (Greenfield or Brownfield)Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, & oral communication skillsSuperior planning & organizational abilityPreferred Qualifications:
Chartered engineer status within a recognized engineering body or be a registered professional engineerAdvanced degree in EngineeringDecarbonization – Energy Transition – Sustainability
