Responsibilities Serves as a full Deputy to the Director, Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) for a large/mega large garrison by performing a variety of duties in the short and long range planning, coordination, and daily oversight of the Directorate. Integrates plans into appropriated and non-appropriated fund annual operating budgets. Reviews program changes and discusses changes in goals and objectives with activity managers and supervisors ensuring objectives and goals are attainable and economically feasible. Represents the Director in all matters including the coordination of programs and activities within and outside the directorate. Provides technical guidance and administrative oversight through direct and indirect supervision of subordinate supervisors and employees. Exercises the full range of personnel management responsibilities. Responsible for assuming the duties of the director in his/her absence. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
