Job DescriptionAECOM Mississauga is hiring a Deputy Delivery Director.
Responsibilities:
Participate in Team Building and Onboarding Process with the IPDT.Define all required Metrolinx (MX) inputs and support Delivery Partner (DP) Leads for the effective carrying out of the Delivery Phase. Continually review and oversee the performance of all DP Resources for the Delivery Phase to ensure the contract requirements are being met.Coordinate with the DP Leads and determine if all DP Resources for the Delivery Phase are effectively delivering services and review capacity needs for agreement with MX.Day-to-day leadership and coordination of the DP Team.Lead the effective mobilization (including On-Boarding, Training, Meet & Greet, etc.) of any DP Resources required in accordance with the ASP and as agreed with MX.Organise all necessary Delivery Phase workshops in conjunction with MX.Manage the activities of the Business Support and Facilities Manager.Support the Organisational Change Team with coordinating ECWE wide and ECWE SLT enagements, such as the Maturity Assessments and High-Performing Teams Analysis.Support the Organisational Change team as necessary to implement change initiatives associated with organization design, governance, ways of working, etc.Lead as a Change Champion and monitor adoption of change initiatives within the DP, ECWE SLT and TA with the support of the Organisational Change TeamChair and lead regular meetings with the ECWE SLT to provide progress updates, actions and decision-making.Lead the development of the Annual Service Plans for agreement with MX.Lead the Interdisciplinary Reviews for all documentation across all disciplines prior to Delivery Partner Lead approval.In conjunction with Project Controls Lead prepare all necessary reports (monthly etc.) for submission to MX.Deputise for the Delivery Partner Lead as necessary.Contribute to the ASP ensuring consistency of resources and approach.Participate in the preparation of all necessary presentation materials in connection with the ASP.Support the Delivery Partner Lead with all Presentations to the IP, Executive Oversight Committee and the MX Executive.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management12 years of Project Construction Management experience, including 4 years of leadershipPEng or PMP or MBA
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideally 15 years of Project Construction Management experience10 years’ experience leading major transport infrastructure projects. Strong working knowledge in design and construction, building systems/components and technology, project controls, contract management, project delivery methods, and environmental together with team building and client relationship buildingCertified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license/certificationAdditional InformationSponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position
