Scope of Responsibility:
This position provides administrative support to the Engineering Manager, Engineering personnel, and other inter-office personnel as instructed per the Engineering Manager. The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the engineering departments in releasing drawings to various departments through out the company and to the customer.
Essential Duties:
Document control, which includes scanning and filing electronically engineering required documents. organizes and maintains paper and electronic file systems, and file correspondence and other records for engineer(s) assigned.May assist internal customers in other areas with preparation of paperwork or printing needs.Read and understand bills of material (BOM) and product specifications, and provide feedback regarding potential errors, omissions or helpful augmentation.Will be tasked with data management and excel documentation and reports.Will work with Engineering Department personnel in creating reports, researching & gathering information, and other support the department deems necessary.Demonstrated ability to pro-actively solve problems.Proficient managing schedules and multiple calendars.Highly motivated and works well in a fast pace, team-oriented environment; continuously develops new competencies to accommodate evolving expectations.Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Regular and timely attendance is requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Able to make error free entry into different Departments logsEffectively follow up with inquiries, able to send e-mail and ask clarification of dates & information to maintain multiple department logs.Must be able to multitask and organize, effectively ensuring that deadlines are met.
Physical Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to work with frequent interruptions in work flow and constantly changing priorities.Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with the ability to move throughout the office or outside manufacturing plant as needed.Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands and arms, such as sitting, typing, using office equipment and reaching. Some additional physical activities may require walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials.Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual. Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
