The Role
At Baxter Healthcare, our focus is on providing remarkable service and support to our customers across the ANZ region. As a Depot Engineer, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless installation, maintenance, and repair of our state-of-the-art equipment. This role will be based at our Service Centre based in Orchard Hills, NSW.
Responsibilities
Order and maintain appropriate levels and types of spare parts
Help with quotations for installation, maintenance, and service repair works to ensure business strategy is accomplished in all activities
Install, maintain, and service all equipment, both Baxter and otherwise, in the Service Centre or at installation sites. This includes disciplined planning, preparation, and execution of work
Supervise every stage of the Service Delivery process, ensuring timely acknowledgement, attendance, and resolution of dispatched cases in adherence to quality documentation standard
Verify the functionality of all test and measurement tools and ensure that calibration timelines adhere to global and local benchmarks
Maintain accurate machine details and service activities through database upkeep and communication with Technical Service administration support
Complete all designated internal product and company training as required, including Technical Newsletter, Service Bulletin, and Senior Technical Service Engineer communications
Provide first-level phone and on-site technical support and troubleshooting for equipment to ensure efficient uptime
Seek help from relevant Technical Service team members to handle critical issues and achieve timely and accurate resolution of customer problems
Ensure customer satisfaction in all aspects of your responsibilities, with appropriate action and follow-up to address any blocking issues and maintain clear communication on all service cases
Actively engage in your assigned region to guarantee achievement of all agreed-upon benchmarks and contractual obligations
Collaborate with internal collaborators like commercial sales and marketing employees to foster teamwork and reach business objectives.
Key Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical or related fields
Current Driver's licence
Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ relevant experience in customer premises and/or hospital environments
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Outstanding organization and time management skills with the ability to follow tasks through to completion
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to drive key results and foster a collaborative work environment
Proven strong focus with a passion for delivering high level customer service.
