Together for better. **About the Role:** A Level III Deposit support specialist is responsible for assisting branches with all operational questions regarding bank procedures. Provides careful, detailed analysis of all types of legal and business documentation, identify areas/levels of risk, andsetand communicates conditions and requirements. Supplies alternative solutions and guidance. This is the first line of support to all our branches. + Assist branches with process and procedural information according to standard operating procedures and training manuals + Provide expert guidance on complex inquiries + Assist branches with questions regarding account opening and maintenance + Investigate and resolve all but the most complex operational questions + Provide review and analysis of the following, including but not limited to: All types of business entitydocumentation ,Powers of attorney, Trust documentation, Decedent account documentation, Guardianships/Conservatorships, IRA/HSA + Assist branches on IRA new account setup, completion of forms, and processing transactions + Provides options for alternative solutions when assisting with exception situations + Analyze risk associated with exception situations + Serve as an escalation point for retail branches, which includes compiling data and formulating recommendations for review by retail administration leadership. + Serve as an escalation and/or approval point for various CIP relatedrequestand complex account types. + Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. + Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. + Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. + May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. + Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. + Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. + Embraces our vision to become “Business Bank of Choice” + May perform other duties as assigned. **About You:** + H.S. Diploma/GED. Required + 5+ yearsof retail branch banking, branch support, or equivalent experience. Required + Expert working knowledge of banking operations practices, principles, applications, methods, policies, and procedures. + Ability to professionally communicate, both written and verbal, across all business lines and job levels + Excellent research and problem-solving capabilities + Ability to work Independently and collectively within a team environment + Ability to effectively discern information and formulate appropriate action and set priorities + Proficientin FISInsight, Concierge, Deposit Origination, Image Center/FCM, CBOP and Microsoft Office suite + Excellent interpersonal skills **Job Location(s):** Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s). The pay range for this role is[$22.00 - $30.00], and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but notlimited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
