Description
The Desktop Deployment Technician is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and support of desktop and laptop systems across organizational departments. This role ensures that all end-user devices are properly installed, maintained, and supported in accordance with company IT standards. The technician will work closely with internal teams and end-users to ensure seamless technology transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
- Deploy and configure Windows-based desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (e.g., printers, scanners, monitors).
- Perform imaging, software installation, and user profile setup using tools such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and PDQ.
- Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware and software issues during and after deployment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with service desk and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of users.
- Support VoIP phone setup, digital faxing, and basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Assist with cable management, workstation setup, and compliance with ITS security protocols.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• 3+ years’ experience supporting Windows 10 operating systems.
• 3+ years’ experience supporting and configuring computer hardware/software.
• 3+ years’ experience working in a technical customer service environment.
• 3+ years’ experience working with a ticket tracking system (e.g. Microsoft SCSM, ServiceNow, Cherwell, etc.).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
