The selected applicant will provide technical support of communications-electronics equipment, systems, subsystems, and ancillaries in fixed/mobile communications platforms for the Department of Defense (DoD), US Special Operations Forces (SOF), and other government agencies. **This position requires continuous deployment (one year minimum with a 2-week midterm return to CONUS break) to locations designated as Hazardous Duty by the U.S. Department of State.** The successful candidate must be willing to travel to Hazardous Duty areas and meet/maintain training and Fit for Duty requirements (specific health and physical requirements) as specified by the contract(s) and applicable U.S. Government directives (i.e. CENTCOM Mod 18). This position is managed in Chesapeake, VA. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
