As a Department Analyst IV, you will function as a primary resource for operating units in the collection of data and the analysis and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets, and procedures. In this role, you will work on post-award financial forecasts, manage chargebacks for the cores, oversee service-contract portfolios, assist with budgeting processes, and support financial management for our strategic partnerships. While much of the work involves handling grants from NIH and various foundations, there is also opportunity for growth into industry and corporate partnerships in the future.


A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m., with three days on-site and two days remote.


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Function as a primary resource for operating units regarding the collection of data, analysis and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures.

Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.

Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets and programs.

Prepare reports based on analysis.

Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.

Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact.

Identify opportunities for service and program improvement.

Develop special reports and recommendations.

Participate in the development of operational plans, procedures and systems.

Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvement and/or change.

Lead project teams to complete high level R15analysis or report complete with comprehensive recommendations.

Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).

Conduct presentations and advise others regarding key changes or related issues.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field and four years of high-level statistical analysis experience

OR Master’s degree and three years of experience

Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Research background/experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
