As a Department Analyst, your work as a caregiver starts in the office, where you will focus on the analysis and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures. This role has specific tasks that are required to comply with regulatory requirements (NCQA, Ohio House Bill 125 and CMS) but the team is also focused on continuous improvement and uses Kaizen boards and other tools to build efficiencies and improve processes. Your dedication and efforts help bolster our Research and Data Departments, making you invaluable and integral to our ability to continue providing exceptional patient care across the world. This position offers an excellent way to ensure patients continue receiving the best care possible at Cleveland Clinic.
A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. with occasional on-site meetings at CC facilities in the NE Ohio area required.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.
Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets and programs.
Prepare reports based on analysis.
Conduct basic statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.
Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact.
Identify opportunities for service and program improvement.
Develop special reports and recommendations.
Assist with the development of operational plans, procedures and systems.
Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvement.
Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field and one year of statistical analysis experience OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and three years of experience OR Master’s Degree
Proficient with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience with design tracking tools
Credentialing experience
Must live in NE Ohio - occasional on site meetings in CC facilities in the NE Ohio area such as Independence
