**Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a Dental Hygienist to work at the main hospital in Lawrenceville. The person in this role will work 4, 10 hour shifts per week, no weekends or holidays. Travel to the North Satellite may be required once in awhile.** **Responsibilities:** + Give and receive accurate and complete information to parents and doctors while displaying professionalism and perform accurate and thorough charting of patient data. + Take and develop radiographs of a consistent, good diagnostic quality for review by dentist. + Place topical anesthetics, rubber dam; placement of occlusal sealants using four handed dental assisting techniques if assisting is necessary. + Teach hygiene students from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. + Scale and polish primary and permanent dentition and apply topical fluoride. + Prepare electronic documents including discharge summary and school/work excuse.
