Windsor Family Dentistry is a general dentistry clinic seeking a warm and outgoing dental assistant or EDDA to join our team full time. We're a close knit group of professionals who believe that excellent care starts with creating a positive and fun environment. We offer a variety of services for patients of all ages ranging from routine cleanings and fillings to cosmetic dentistry and more. Schedule: Full time, Tuesday through Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities & Desired Skills:
Welcome patients into the officePrepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfortSelect and set up instruments, equipment, and materials neededSterilize instruments according to regulationsAssist the dentist chairsideUndertake lab tasks as instructedProvide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructionsKeep operatories clean and well-stockedSchedule appointmentsMaintain accurate patient records and assist with payment proceduresComfortable with placing FillingsComfortable taking ImpressionsExperience fabricating Temp CrownsExperience seating CrownsPleasant, professional chairside mannerRequirementsAt least 2 years of Dental Assisting experienceEDDA certification is preferred but is not requiredExperience in General DentistryKnowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methodsUnderstanding of health & safety regulationsExcellent communication and people skillsHigh school diploma; graduation from a dental assistant school is preferredDenticon experience is a plus but not requiredMust have reliable transportationAccepting applications until this position has been filled
