We are currently looking for passionate Demi chef in our The Dining Room Kitchen team.About the roleResponsible for the breakfast, lunch and/or dinner services for assigned sectionAssists the Chef de Partie to set up the assigned section of the KitchenEnsures that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standardAssigns responsibilities to team members and to supervise performance, coaching and training where necessaryResponsible for checking all incoming food items, making sure they are stored in the correct manner as per hygiene regulationsTo ensure that all mise-en-place for the assigned section is maintained at an appropriate level

Minimum 2 years work experience as Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant with good standardsCompletion of Chef Apprenticeship or has a Certificate in commercial cookeryGood Hygiene KnowledgeEffective trainer, experienced in the delivery of skills trainingSafe and accurate knife skillsKnowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods
