About the role
This role will involve catering for all meal periods and all outlets including Luci Restaurant (Lunch/Dinner), The Douglas Bar, Executive Lounge, In Room Dining as well as Events. 
As a valued part of our team, you will be given training for all sections and the opportunity to learn and work with diverse ingredients, techniques, and dishes. As a team we love sharing ideas and learning from each other. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

\n\nPreparing mis-en-place for all the relevant menus\nWork with a positive attitude in timely and efficient manner\nPreparing and presenting high quality dishes\nKeeping all working areas clean and tidy to ensure no cross contamination\nEnsure food items are of a good quality and stored correctly\nEmbrace a commitment to continuous learning, and remain up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.\n\n

What are we looking for?

\n\nCertificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)\nIdeal candidates will have 1.5 to 2 years of experience as a chef, along with basic knowledge of pastry\nHave a positive attitude and effectively communicate with the team\nConfident and efficient knife skills\nAbility to work under pressure\nAdaptability and a team-oriented mindset\nFlexible availability, including weekends and public holidays\n\n
