Job Purpose:
The Demand Planning Manager position is responsible for managing forecasting activities associated with customers and products to create and maintain forecast models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, customers, and other sources.
In general, the role of Demand Planning Manager can be described as follows:
Lead and manage the end-to-end demand planning process Oversee the demand planning cycle using FuturMaster in collaboration with the Global Hub team for seamless system optimization and the S&OP cycle. Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and business intelligence Drive continuous improvement and conduct problem-solving exercises with TPM. Monitor forecast performance and measure forecasting KPIs. Conduct scenario management to assess the impact of various business scenarios and contingencies, adjusting plans accordingly to optimize demand planning strategies. Provide regular updates and reports on forecast accuracy, demand trends, scenario outcomes, and planning metrics to senior management. Coordinate any Support as per the business need.Key Responsibilities
Execute the 13-week and 21-month forecast: By distributor, brand, SKUs, region, and supply points, based on demand, historical data, and the planning process, through frequent alignment with relevant stakeholders. Coordinate demand and Supply collaboration through actively owning the S&OP process Collaborate to ensure on availability of products with the supply chain at all supply points Maintain the demand-planning process and system to improve forecast accuracy and upgrade ways of reporting. Communicate with underperforming regions:on a routine basis as per the forecast performance Support Business Planning process with relevant analysis from Futurmaster and available sales data. Manage Customer & Product Hierarchies: Coordinate with the Customer service team and the to ensure accurate structuring and validation. Oversee Financial Factors: Re-upload and validate financial factors with the Revenue Management and upload on the Futur master, such as AP. Validate Demand Segmentation: Work closely with O Hub DP to check and confirm demand segmentation accuracy. Manage Review Splits and Split Control: Ensure proper review and control of data splits, ensuring accurate representation and allocation of sales data across different channels or regions, and fix abnormalities with the help of Hub DP, Allocate Sources: Coordinate source allocation tasks with the customer service team. and Supply Planning Collect Inputs for Data Cleansing: Lead the collection of critical data inputs required for cleansing the sales history, working closely with Hub DP to ensure all necessary data points are captured. Cleanse Sales History and Model Baseline: Manage the cleansing process for historical sales data and the modeling of baseline forecasts, ensuring thorough validation and integration between OpCo DP and Hub DP and validate the cleansing sales data. AP / ROFO Upload: Lead the upload process for the Annual Plan (AP) and Rolling Forecast (ROFO), ensuring accurate data entry in collaboration with OpCo DP Validate DFUs (Demand Forecast Units): Take responsibility for validating the DFUs to ensure they align with operational goals and sales forecast NPI Enrichment (less than 26 weeks of sales): Manage the enrichment of New Product Introductions (NPI) data, especially for products with less than 26 weeks of sales history, by collaborating with OpCo DP, Hub DP, and Commerce teams. Manage Monthly Activities (Initial Entries): Oversee the timely and accurate entry of monthly sales and activity data across OpCo DP, Hub DP, and Commerce. Conduct Demand Review: Lead demand review meetings, analyzing forecast data in collaboration with OpCo DP to ensure alignment with sales and operational targets. Archive First Monthly Forecast: Oversee the archiving process of the first monthly forecast, ensuring that historical data is properly stored and accessible for future analysis Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from different countries. Coordinate with management and plan participation in all trade shows and ensure all activities are according to customer specifications and assist business partners to design efficient distribution strategies for customers and ensure compliance to all state and federal regulations. Perform other activities as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
Experience and Skills
Minimum of 2 years in Logistics with warehouse experience preferred in an FMCG companyEducation
