Your challenge:
We have an exciting opening for someone to join our commercial operations in supply chain team as a Demand Planner. You will play a critical role in demand planning and executing supply chain initiatives including facilitating logistic processes in the Personal Health business unit. You will consistently show strong collaboration with order desk colleagues and internal supply chain stakeholders on all inventory movements and requirements.
You are responsible for:
Executes the demand planning process for specific business units, analyzes market trends, historical data, and customer insights to develop accurate demand forecasts, optimizes inventory levels, and meets customer demands.
Maintains the demand plan for specific business units and guarantees punctual updates for meetings and business planning snapshots to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic alignment.
Attains the sales, marketing, and/or consensus forecast, which serves as input for pivotal meetings such as the sales review meeting, activity review meeting, and demand sign-off meeting.
Analyses baseline forecast, supply chain data analytics to generate sales, marketing, and consensus forecasts for the designated planning period.
Examines phase-in/out schedules and promotions data and synthesizes the information into a cohesive process customized to align with market demands and customer preferences, ensuring efficient adaptation to market dynamics.
Develops and upkeeps demand planning models and tools and creates robust frameworks to accurately forecast demand and optimizes inventory management processes.
Assists various departments in the preparation, planning, communication, and revision of forecasts for Activity Review, and Demand Sign-off, adapting forecasts according to the decisions and outputs from these meetings.
Reports on the performance of all service providers by conducting reviews to assess key metrics and identify opportunities for improvement, working under general supervision.
Supervise and implement controls that the third-party operations are executed efficiently with a focus on highest quality and patient safety, end-to-end optimization and in full compliance with processes defined and with quality, regulatory, sustainability, legal and trade compliance obligations.
Oversee the daily inbound and outbound activities of the distribution centre.
Conducts or ensure checks of interfaces between SAP, Transportation Management System (TMID), and Logistics Service Provider (LSP) systems with the third-party suppliers to ensure data integrity and smooth information flow.
Ensures alignment between stock in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) systems, conducting regular audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy and safeguarding against potential disruptions to inventory management processes.
Coordinates rework activities for stocks, addressing quality issues, customer Value-Added Services (VAS) activities, and promotional VAS activities as requested by business units or marketing.
Contributes to the implementation of new control systems and the improvement of planning procedures and methods as part of working groups, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitoring and resolving issues related to logistics
Analyzing logistics data and invoices.
Auditing all logistics invoices and billing files.
Proactively managing distribution costs
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:
Degree-level education in Supply Chain or equivalent field
Minimum 4 years of working experience in Demand Planning, SCM/Logistics managements including import/exports, preferably within medical or FMCG industries
Accustomed to effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking in a project-driven and fast-paced operational environment
Experience in change management and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
Must be solutions-focused, creative, innovative with a high level of organizational and planning skills
Must possess strong Excel skills and MS Office software
The ability to critically think through the multiple-step process and follow up on details
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
Ability to travel occasionally as required
Intermediate knowledge of SAP software preferred but not required
Be a results-oriented and highly analytical individual

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
