Demand Planner

We are looking for a Demand Planner to join our centralized European Demand Planning team. In this role, you will own and manage the consolidated demand plan for all European markets for a specific (or multiple) business division(s). You will work closely with Commercial Teams, Divisional Planners, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain partners to ensure full alignment across the S&OP horizon and to support informed business decisions.

How you'll make an impact:

Own the centralized demand plan for all Europe markets, ensuring customer requirements are met through S&OP and mid‑ to long‑term planning

Collaborate with key stakeholders across Europe to incorporate market insights, risks, and opportunities into the forecast

Ensure strong communication and alignment between local commercial teams and the European planning organization

Partner with Marketing and Divisional Planners to integrate new product introductions, conversions, and deactivations into the demand plan

Use exception management and root‑cause analysis to identify forecast deviations and drive corrective actions

Monitor forecast accuracy and bias across multiple planning levels, preparing performance metrics to support continuous improvement

Navigate ambiguous situations using strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using project management and Kaizen capabilities

Apply business and market knowledge to improve service levels and inventory performance through accurate forecasting

Build strong internal partnerships to ensure alignment and meet shared objectives

Help design and implement new planning processes, tools, or models that enhance efficiency and performance

Manage daily operational interactions with plants, warehouses, and suppliers to ensure demand is supported end‑to‑end


Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in business/Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study

2 years of work experience in supply chain planning, finance, marketing or a related analytical discipline

Significant experience with ERPs, advanced planning systems, analytical or equivalent software

High level of proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel and Word

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with different audiences

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders

Ability to navigate complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics

A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives

Experience with cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Demonstrated ability for using a strategic mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced technical or business degree, MBA preferred

Experience in operational excellence and project management such as TPM, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Green Belt, etc.

APICS Certification
