Demand Planner

Job Summary:
The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and support efficient supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer insights to create demand plans that align with business objectives. The Demand Planner works closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to balance supply and demand while minimizing costs and maximizing service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models.
+ Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to incorporate promotional activities and new product launches into forecasts.
+ Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans based on changes in demand patterns.
+ Identify risks and opportunities in demand planning and communicate them to stakeholders.
+ Support inventory optimization by aligning demand plans with supply and production schedules.
+ Prepare and present demand planning reports and KPIs to management.
+ Utilize demand planning software and ERP systems to manage data and generate insights.
+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting processes.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or related field.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with forecasting tools or ERP systems.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, or similar).
+ Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and supply chain principles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

After second anniversary: 15 PTO days annual award level. After eighth anniversary: 20 PTO days annual award level. After eighteenth anniversary: 25 PTO days annual award level. Holiday Pay We observe the following eight holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day (observed the day after Thanksgiving), Thanksgiving, Christmas, and your Birthday (a special day off for you).
