The Demand Planner will plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules, assessing changes and improving processes as necessary. Tracks status of material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, and materials are available as needed. Prepare reports on works in progress and can-builds. Coordinates material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials are timed to meet production requirements. Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and other groups. Schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of moving orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Review and maintain master production schedule (MPS). _This position is located at the Raytheon Dine Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX Dine Facility adheres_ _to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices._ **What You Will Do** + Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements- looking out 6 months ahead + Evaluate and status the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production and / or Depot problems that impact schedule + Solve any potential production and / or Depot problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed + Control and analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system, + Confirm material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements + Summarize inventory shortage impacts for assemblies and end items that will be or are released to the factory floor and provide weekly can-build and constraints + Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering + Proposing solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders + Interface with internal customers to include, VSMs, VSLs, MEs, IEs, Quality, WIPs and Managers + Participate in CORE projects, contract closeout, and teams to accomplish continuous improvements **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and less than two (2) years of prior relevant experience. + Experience with Supply Chain, Production and/or Planning Control, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Operations. + U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Experience with SAP/PRISM + Experience with Government and Depot type processes + Experience working with MS Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint **What We Offer** Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
