**Job Title:** Demand and Orders Manager
**Salary/Grade:** £44,980 - £56,000 per annum (depending on experience)
**Location** : Larne

**The opportunity**
As the Demand and Orders Manager, you will report into the Supply Chain Manager based in Larne, Northern Ireland and will require ownership of Order Processing, Material Planning, Inventory Management and Supplier Performance for the Larne site and also several 3rd party locations globally. The role will require an individual able to balance conflicting priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
**What you will do:**
+ Align demand planning with manufacturing, product groups, marketing, and material planning to ensure customer requirements are met.
+ Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather accurate inputs for demand forecasts and production schedules.
+ Resolve conflicts between supply constraints and customer expectations through proactive communication and planning.
+ Manage a team of up to 20 people, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans to support your teams career growth.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance compliance, reduce errors, and increase operational efficiency.
+ Lead change management initiatives for new systems and procedures, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
+ Collaborate with supply chain and finance teams to define and maintain optimal inventory levels.
+ Monitor inventory health using KPIs and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
+ Improve forecast accuracy through data analysis and market trend evaluation to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
**What you have:**
Supply Chain Management - Level Working Knowledge:
+ Understand the key components used to manage a supply chain.
+ Experience in material planning, supplier management and inventory management.
+ Experience with developing high performing suppliers.
+ Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities.
+ Understands supply chain considerations for different types of products.
Operational Functions - Level Working Knowledge:
+ Works to resolve obstacles related to achieving the facility build schedule.
+ Documents regulatory and reporting requirements.
+ Assesses situations based on awareness of the goals and operating issues of own department.
+ Seeks guidance when assigned goals conflict with departmental goals or overall strategy.
+ Carries out responsibilities that contribute to role of own department within the organization.
Tactical and Strategic Planning - Level Working Knowledge:
+ Contributes to short-term operational plans.
+ Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
+ Monitors progress of work against plan as required to meet objectives.
+ Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.
+ Under guidance, develops tactical plan for own direct responsibility.
Process Management - Level Working Knowledge:
+ Employs process flows, cycle time, process time and waste concepts as appropriate.
+ Walks through steps, decisions, measurements, dependencies and hand-offs for a specific process.
+ Creates process flow or work flow diagrams.
+ Documents types of process decisions and potential impact of each decision.
+ Identifies and monitors common process bottlenecks.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Level Extensive Experience:
+ Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making process.
+ Assesses and validates decision options and points and predicts their potential impact.
+ Advises others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives.

+ Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.

+ There is a travel requirement <25% of the time.
