Demand & Supply Network Planning Manager - Bulgaria 

 

 

We’re seeking a forward-thinking and results-driven professional to lead demand forecasting and inventory management for the Bulgarian market. This role is pivotal in aligning commercial strategies with supply chain execution, ensuring product availability while minimizing write-offs and inefficiencies.

 

You’ll collaborate with Marketing & Sales, Finance, Logistics, GBS, and Global Supply Chain to support optimal inventories planning, finished goods initiatives’ planning & deployment, avoid stockouts & write-offs, track performance, support local and global reporting and integrate internal & external insights into proper forecasts.  

 

Position:

 

As a Demand & Supply Network Planning Manager, you will: 

Develop accurate monthly sales and production forecasts, incorporating market insights, product launches, portfolio initiatives and cross-functional inputs from all key stakeholders 

Create volume scenarios and backup plans to meet business goals 

Monitor sales, stock, and market performance to identify risks, opportunities, and required adjustments 

Manage national finished goods inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient turnover 

Coordinate production and supply flows with factories, Customer Service, and Global Supply Chain, including purchase orders and tax stamp management 

Provide analytical insights to support decision-making and performance reviews 

Maintain and standardize demand and supply planning processes across the RoMoBu cluster, in line with Global standards 

Collaborate closely with Logistics to optimize deliveries, stock management, and product launches

 

Requirements: 

 

Education: University degree in a technical or economic field 

Experience: 3+ years experience in planning / supply or demand / data-driven & planning-focused commercial roles, or similar

Language: Proficient in English & Romanian (spoken and written), additional languages are a plus

Other skills and knowledge:    

Capability to pivot from topline view to details in order to achieve the objectives 

Stakeholder & project management skills, prioritization & strategic scheduling 

Forecasting & Demand Planning capabilities 

Scenario Planning & Risk Management: preparing for market volatility and supply disruptions 

Good understanding of commercial business models, portfolio, distribution model, sales operations & promotional strategies 

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel; BI knowledge represents a plus) 

Strong understanding of SAP (IBP knowledge represents a plus; ERP understanding) 

Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills
