Job Description

Overview of the role:

We are looking for Delivery Manager who is extremely passionate about project mgmt./delivery mgmt using Agile methodology for our wide range of cloud-based web / mobile B2B & B2C products targeted towards a wide range of industries and applications. Internal projects/products are also in scope.  You will be based in our new ground-breaking innovation hub with an atmosphere of start-up and get an opportunity to work and collaborate with internal and external technology specialist in areas of AI, IOT, VR/AR.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage overall delivery of project/products [ more than one]Work with SM/PM, Product owners to resolve delivery issuesFocus on Delivery governance and KPILead small group of people and manage their careerProvide inputs to HoS on staffing, hiring, training needsMonitor the billing topicsWork with assigned vendors on offers, staffing, billing topicsEnsure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprintEnsure the delivery processes are followed by delivery teamsGuides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.Support SM/PM in resolving obstacles and overcome challengesIncrease team morale and motivation there by reducing attritionContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in delivery methods and project management practices.Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution of issues to avoid impact on project delivery.Support with hiring topics

Qualifications

Requirements:

            Delivery Management, Team Management

Strong experience in managing medium to large scale delivery of soft applicationsFamiliarity with software product developmentDirectly Managing team size of 8+ peopleExcellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)Experience in using Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence etcGood understanding of KPIs and processesExperience in creating offers, managing budgetsKnowledge of project financials

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilityGood communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skillsPlanning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams A can-do attitude, result driven and openness to learning.Experience in coaching and training individuals and teams in Agile concepts and practices.

 

Experience

Overall 12+ yrs of experience in IT Industry on various roles5+ years’ experience as developer, QA, Business analysis etc before moving to management role5+ years of Experience in a scrum master role5+ years of experience in project managementScrum master/PMP certification is a plusPrevious experience of people management with at least 6-8 direct reportsBachelor’s degree and 5+ years of product or project development experience, or 5+ years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
