**Process Overview:**
Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit. Aligned with these client-facing groups are Global Capital Markets and Global Research. The Shared Technology Platforms is a portfolio under the GBAMT Strategy, Architecture and Core Platforms portfolio. The portfolio is responsible for designing, building and maintaining high performing software systems that are used by the Global Banking and Markets Technology employees globally. These are Technology for Technology tools that cater to varying project management needs including but not limited to forecasting, hiring, resource lifecycle management etc
**Job Description**
Bank of America has embarked on a multi-year transformation journey to replace its legacy payments platform with modern technology platforms. As part of the platform transformation, the bank is revamping its end-to-end ecosystem to improve operational & technological efficiency. The platform is being built in an ongoing and agile process to easily adapt to new technologies, integrate more tools, and provide a structure that can evolve over time. At the core of this transformation is the Finacle Payments Engine (FPE). Finacle software is a core banking product from Infosys.
The Technology Manager will play a leadership role in the payments transformation program. This role will oversee the delivery of the Finacle Payments Engine (FPE) into the bank’s ecosystem. He/She will work closely with senior stakeholders, product teams, operations, functional leads, technical leads, and vendor SMEs across works-streams under the payments transformation program and will have direct accountability in ensuring that the Finacle Payments Engine (FPE) is implemented in accordance to scope, cost, timeline, and quality expectations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the implementation of Finacle Payments Engine (FPE) platform, including successful integration of the platform with bank systems.
+ Leverage domain and technical expertise to set direction and drive project execution. Foresee and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies.
+ Work with business, operations, internal technology teams, and with vendor partners to ensure successful project delivery.
+ Act as the primary liaison between the vendor and internal technology teams.
+ Manage stakeholder expectations with respect to scope, deliverables, and timelines.
+ Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery – e.g. kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
+ Ensure execution and delivery meets stakeholder expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
+ Ensure Enterprise Change Management and other policy requirements for technology solutions are met for the epics/features delivered.
+ Measure delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders across GPS, GT&O and other teams to drive development of execution plans to enable realization of GPE strategies. Execution plans outline multi-year strategic outcomes (based on target state) and the activities required to support achievement of those outcomes.
+ Summarize, create presentations, and present initiative-specific, compelling, executive-ready presentations conveying the strategy, business case, and recommendations to Senior and Executive Leadership across product, operations, technology, and compliance.
+ Contributes to the technology strategy for Finacle Payments Engine (FPE) platform.
+ Risk Manager: Ensures proper risk discipline, controls and culture are in place to identify, escalate and debate issues.
+ People Manager & Coach: Provides inspection, coaching and feedback to motivate, differentiate and improve performance.
+ Financial Steward: Actively manages expenses and budgets in alignment with objectives, making sound financial decisions.
+ Enterprise Talent Leader: Assesses talent and builds bench strength for roles across the organization.
+ Driver of Business Outcomes: Delivers results by effectively prioritizing, inspecting and appropriately delegating team-work.
**Requirements:**
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related with experience in developing applications in the banking or finance industry
**Certifications (if any): PMP, Scrum Master, Safe Agilist**
**Experience Range: 08 – 10+ years**
**Foundational Skills:**
+ Senior Leader, passionate towards strategy, team building, application integration, corporate payments, technology architecture, resiliency, reporting and collaboration.
+ Minimum 08 years of technology delivery experience, with proven ability to manage delivery of complex, integration projects in a matrix organization.
+ **Finacle** core banking implementation and integration experience in a global bank setup.
+ Sound knowledge of the Finacle Data Model and the Finacle core banking platform version 11.x.
+ Must have played a significant role in implementation of at least 5 or more Finacle implementations in ASIA / EMEA region.
+ Strong technology delivery capability and leadership from solution design, E2E program/project delivery to problem solving.
+ Hands on delivery experience working with Agile teams and in implementing Scaled Agile/Scrum/Kanban/DevOps practices.
+ Experience working with product and service vendors, and with the onshore-offshore delivery model.
+ Execution and result oriented. Strong aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
+ Knowledge of the Payments domain and experience in applying this knowledge to drive operational experience and process improvement is a plus.
+ Expertise in executive communications and stakeholder relationship management. Capable of articulating the project status and gaining alignment with stakeholders
