Delivery Lead
Delivery Lead Requisition ID: 255806 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. We are seeking a high-caliber, execution-focused Delivery Lead to join our Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) team. This role is built for a leader who thrives in complexity and consistently converts strategic intent into high-quality, production-grade outcomes. This is not a coordination role. It is a leadership role centered on ownership of velocity and value. You will operate across business, product, and engineering—working closely with innovation leaders, architects, and high-performing software teams to bring ideas from concept to production with clarity, discipline, and accountability. You will be measured by outcomes delivered, not by plans created. Within GWMT, you will help build secure, scalable, and intelligent platforms that power next-generation wealth experiences—including digital platforms, enterprise systems, and AI-enabled solutions. You will play a critical role in bridging innovation and execution, ensuring that bold ideas translate into reliable, scalable outcomes. If you are motivated by ownership, execution excellence, and measurable impact—and energized by working at the intersection of innovation and delivery—this role offers a platform to lead from the front. **Is this role right for you? In this role you will:** + Lead delivery of complex initiatives, translating strategic priorities into clear execution plans and shipped outcomes. + Drive velocity and value by aligning delivery timelines with business impact and measurable outcomes. + Orchestrate cross-functional teams across engineering, product, architecture, QA, and operations to ensure cohesive execution. + Identify, track, and resolve dependencies, risks, and impediments before they become delivery constraints. + Establish clarity on priorities, scope, trade-offs, and success metrics across stakeholders. + Facilitate structured, high-quality decision-making by bringing context, data, and alignment into discussions. + Drive accountability across teams and partners (internal and external) to meet commitments and milestones. + Partner closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Tech Leads to align delivery with product vision and architectural direction. + Lead agile ceremonies and planning activities with a focus on predictability, adaptability, and continuous flow. + Coordinate operational readiness across security, infrastructure, and platform teams. + Oversee release execution to ensure reliable, high-quality deployments. + Continuously improve delivery practices, team effectiveness, and agile maturity. + Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement. **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:** + 3–5 years of experience leading delivery of software initiatives in enterprise environments. + Proven ability to drive execution across cross-functional teams with multiple dependencies. + Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, XP), and modern engineering practices. + Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain delivery momentum. + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business audiences. + Strong problem-solving capability with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation. + Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar delivery platforms. + Familiarity with cloud-based systems, modern architectures, and AI-enabled applications is an asset. + Exposure to financial services or regulated environments is a plus. **What sets you apart:** + You operate with ownership. You drive outcomes and deliver business value. + You bring a bias for action. You remove friction and accelerate teams. + You balance structure with pragmatism. You enable speed without sacrificing alignment. + You understand that velocity without value is noise and value without delivery is unrealized potential. + You elevate teams by creating clarity, focus, and forward momentum. **What's in it for you?** + Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Allyship - We strive to create an inclusive culture where every employee is empowered to reach their fullest potential, respected for who they are, and are embraced through bias-free practices and inclusive values across Scotiabank.
