Fountain Tire's London Retread Plant is looking for a reliable and experienced Class AZ Driver to join the team!

Your duties will include:

Operating a 5-ton and/or Semi truckInspect vehicles and equipment on a daily basis, record information in the Driver’s Daily Logbook and immediately report any issues to the Plant ManagerDeliver shipments to assigned locations in a safe and timely mannerLoad and unload transport trucks using safe lifting and loading proceduresEnsure all equipment, tools, and supplies are returned in good working condition to proper locationEnsure that all vehicle documentation is maintained and preservedOperate company vehicles in a clean and safe manner; this includes utilizing proper barriers to maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensuring equipment and loads in company vehicles are safely secured for transportation.

 

What does it take to get on track?

Class AZ drivers license is requiredExperience driving a 5-ton or Semi truck is preferredHigh school diploma and one year of delivery and/or warehouse experienceKnowledge of commercial vehicles an assetAbility to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionMust have the ability to consistently lift up to 100 pounds
