Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver to support our shipping and inventory operations. This role combines driving responsibilities with hands-on inventory management, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages and parts throughout the Bay Area. You’ll work closely with a team of 3–4 clerks to sort, package, and deliver items, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

🚚 No Class A license required – this position involves driving company vans and trucks, not commercial tractor-trailers.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles (non-Class A) to deliver packages and parts to customers and vendors across the Bay Area. Sort and distribute UPS packages by department and recipient. Load and unload packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Review incoming inventory and send items to Quality Control for inspection. Repackage parts according to blueprint travelers and quality standards. Count and manage daily inventory (600–800 parts/day). Perform pickups and deliveries to suppliers and customers. Maintain delivery logs and communicate vehicle maintenance needs. Operate a forklift to move inventory within the facility and to vendors. Use Vista Software to access inventory and packaging requirements. Conduct inventory audits and maintain shipping supply stock. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Required Skills

Proven experience in delivery driving with a clean DMV record. No Class A license required. Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Ability to lift and handle packages up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational and communication skills. Forklift experience (certification preferred; on-site certification available). Basic understanding of blueprint reading and ISO 9001 environments is a plus. Experience using Vista Software or similar inventory systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MORGAN HILL, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
