Job DescriptionVisa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visa's consulting division, working with Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy, proposition development, loyalty, operational optimisation, customer engagement and overall business profitability.
VCA is made up of three services lines - Advisory, Data Science and Managed Services, the latter being the execution arm of VCA. Our Managed Services teams (also known as squads) are embedded into client sites leading long-term engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda but are also closely connected to the broader VCA team, sharing knowledge, and bringing the best of Visa to the client.
This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving measurable growth across Visa’s client portfolio. By delivering tailored optimization strategies, enabling Visa’s product suite, and leading cross-functional execution, the Delivery Director plays a central role in accelerating client performance and deepening Visa’s value across the ecosystem

Business Development (20%):
Partner with Account Executives and Client Advisory Leads to uncover portfolio optimization opportunities across clientsCollaborate cross-functionally with Visa Consulting, Marketing, Account Leads, and Product to develop business cases that clearly demonstrate ROIDesign integrated delivery proposals that align with client priorities, execution realities, and desired outcomesBuild trusted client relationships to gain deep business insight and share these with internal stakeholders to surface new opportunities for Visa to add value.Managed Services Program Delivery (70%):
Collaborate with Account Executives and VCA Client Leads to design tailored Managed Services solutions - including resource planning, operating model, phased implementation, and governance oversightLead resource recruitment for Managed Services by partnering with Talent Acquisition and external suppliers to onboard top-tier talent into client teamsProvide inspirational leadership by building, coaching, and managing a high performing and diverse team, which differentiates through innovation, speed, pace, diversity of thought and employee engagement (15+ people)Manage stakeholders in a complex environment and at senior levels – across the client and at Visa to bring subject matter expertiseOptimise team performance, implementing robust tracking and accountability for processesA portion of this role’s time will be embedded with Visa’s clients to support Delivery Leads, building team culture, driving performance and delivery to the highest standards.Internal Program Enhancement (10%):
Enhance the maturity and consistency of the Managed Services delivery model and value proposition / outcomes delivered to our clientsOptimise internal operating rhythms to deliver productivity gains and uniformity across all programs. Document processes, key learnings and best practices in artefacts that can be reused across the teamUplift the Practice Delivery models through deeper subject matter expertise and build out a knowledge base on Visa’s products and services (including advisory) to provide opportunities to support our clients through other parts of the business.What you will need to be successful:
Seasoned banking professional with over a decade of experience leading complex product and transformation initiatives. Deep expertise in card economics, product P&L, and lifecycle managementCombines strategic insight and technical fluency to influence cross-functional stakeholders—from data specialists to marketers and product leadsProven delivery leader with a strong focus on detail, compliance, and governance. This role reports to the Head of Managed Services (Portfolio Optimisation & Operations) AUNZSP and will work closely to develop the value proposition for AU based clients. The role will be based in Auckland, New Zealand in a hybrid work environment (minimum 3 days in office per week and additional flexibility will be expected to support potential client needs).
