**Introduction** The IBM Technology Expert Labs organization is looking for a Delivery Consultant interested in IBM storage technology and products to learn and grow in our culture of client engagements that enable the adoption of IBM Storage solutions and help influence IBM revenue. Ideal candidates will have a strong drive to learn and expand their technology skillset, interest in architectural methods, confidence to evaluate gaps in best practices and collaborate on recommendations for client environments. They should be able to communicate effectively with Clients, Sellers, Business Partners and Colleagues. **Your role and responsibilities** You will be responsible for developing services offerings and delivering client services engagements around IBM Storage software and hardware solutions utilizing best practices for mirroring, backup and recovery, encryption, cloud, storage management and elasticity. Candidates will have a background or coursework in Information Technology with exposure to Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) and general computer administration. Having experience with network attached storage, coding, and project planning are a plus. You will use these skills for delivering custom services solutions, enhancing client outcomes, and increasing IBM’s storage footprint at client accounts. You may also have the opportunity to develop new service offerings and capabilities that support both IBM's organic and any newly acquired Storage technologies that support our Software Defined Storage growth initiatives. This role will be focused on our Scale and GPFS product portfolio. This Technology Expert Labs Storage Delivery team position requires client facing communications; strong individual planning and project management skills; flexibility and a willingness to work in a dynamic environment; and customer travel (typically 25-50%). **Required technical and professional expertise** · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field of study. · Experience with computer operating/files systems and general system administration. · Strong communication skills · Readiness to travel up to 50% annually · English: Fluent **Preferred technical and professional experience** · General knowledge of IBM products. · Experience with network attached storage. · Experience in client facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, and report presentations. · Experience with coding languages IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
